2 cups Butter
2 cups Brown Sugar
2 cups White Sugar
4 teas pure vanilla
4 eggs
4 cups shifted flour
1-1/2 teas salt
2 teas soda
6 cups old fashioned oats
1-1/2 cups coconut
2-1/2 cups walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together, butter, sugars, vanilla and eggs. Shift together flour, salt and soda and add to creamed mixture just until combined. Gradually add oats, coconut and nuts. (Don't over mix)

Bake for 10 to 15 minutes depending on cookie size at 375º

Options: For Round-up chews, add 2 cups white chocolate chips, substitute macadamia nuts for walnuts and pure lemon for vanilla.

For Craisins Grazing chews, add 1 cup craisins after they have been soaked in hot water for 10 minutes. Make sure they are well drained. Add 2 teas orange in place of the vanilla.
