3 garlic cloves, minced
2 tbsp vegetable oil
4 lbs ground beef
3 large onions
3 (1 lb) can of tomatoes
1 can tomato sauce
2 cans tomato paste
3 to 5 big "glugs" of Worcestershire Sauce
4 cans red kidney beans, drained
1/4 cup chili powder
1 tsp white vinegar
3 dashes cayenne pepper
3 whole cloves
1 bay leaf
1/4 tsp salt
Pepper to taste (I like right much)

Cook garlic in oil until golden. Add meat, brown, and pour off some of the drippings into Dutch oven and saute onions. Combine all ingredients and simmer for 1 hour. Better prepared ahead, freezes well.
