3/4 c margarine--soften
3/4 c sugar
3/4 c brown sugar--packed
1 egg slightly beaten
3/4 c creamy or crunchy peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla
1 3/4 c flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt

small amount of sugar to roll cookies in

48 Chocolate "Kisses" unwrapped

-In large bowl, cream margarine and both sugars, blend in egg, peanut butter and vanilla.

-Sift dry ingredients, mix into sugar mixture.

-Form into small balls by the teaspoon, roll ball around in sugar to cover.

-Bake at 375º for 10-12 mintues.

-While still warm, press chocolate kiss into center.
