4 c sugar
1 tsp salt
2 c cream
3 c pecan meats

Directions:
Make thin syrup of sugar and salt and cream. Melt other cup of sugar in frying pan and stir until caramelized. Into it pour all syrup at one time and stir constantly and rapidly. Boil without stirring to 238 º on candy thermometer. Rapidly beat until creamy. Add nuts. Drop by spoonful on waxed paper to form flat round candies.
