1/2 pound butter, melted
2 1/2 cups oats
2 1/4 cups light brown sugar
3 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg slightly beaten

Directions:
Directions:
Mix oats, flour, salt and sugar. Stir in butter. Add eggs and
vanilla; then mix. Drop by 1/2 teaspoonfuls on cookie sheet 2
inches apart. Bake at 325º oven for 8 minutes. Cool for 2
minutes before removing from cookie sheet and placing on wire
rack.
