Romaine lettuce
Ripe pears
Toasted walnut pieces
Sweet dressing- poppyseed, french, catalina, etc.

Directions:
Directions:
-Place coarsely shredded or chopped romaine lettuce on desired number of salad plates

-Allow 1/2 ripe pear per serving

-Core and slice pears with apple slicer

-Slice each wedge in half lenghwise and than immerse in small bowl filled with orange juice to prevent from browning

-Drain and arrange on lettuce leaves in a circle or fan shape

-Sprinkle toasted walnut pieces over the pears

-Serve with a sweet dressing
