5 to 6 sweet apples
6 slices white bread
1 stick melted butter
1 c sugar
1/2 t vanilla flavoring
1 egg beaten
1 T flour
dash of cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Peel and slice apples. Place in 9 x 13 baking dish. Cut each slice of bread into 4 strips. Cover apples with bread (do not over lap). Mix together sugar, egg, flour, cinnamon and vanilla. Pour over apples and bread to cover well. Bake at 350 for 35 minutes til bread is brown.
