1-1/2 to 2 lbs. ground beef, 1/2 an onion, 3 T butter, 1 C ketchup, 1/3 C vinegar, 2 T brown sugar, 1/2 C water, 2 tsp mustard, 1 T Worchestershire sauce, salt & pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Sautee onions and butter, add all other ingredients except the ground beef; let simmer for 15 minutes. In the mean time, brown the ground beef, adding salt and pepper to taste. Add ground beef to sauce and let simmer again for 15 minutes. Serve on hamburger buns.
