2 c self-rising flour
1/8 tsp salt
1/2 c shortening
1 c mashed sweet potatoes
4-5 tbsp milk

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour and salt, cut in shortening and sweet potatoes until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in enough milk just until dough clings together. Kneed lightly on floured surface. Roll dough to 1/2 in thickness. Cut with 2 in biscuit cutter and place on lightly greased baking sheet. Bake 450 º for 12 mins or until golden brown. (may be frozen after being cooked
