2 3/4 c sugar
3 c all purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 sticks butter or margarine
1/2 c butter flavored shortening
5 large eggs
1 tsp coconut extract
1 tsp rum extract
1 c milk

Directions:
Directions:
Let all ingredients come to room temp. Beat butter and shortening until fluffy. Add sugar gradually. Add eggs 1 at a time beating thoroughly between each one. Add extracts (Zelma 1/2 lemon ext and 1/2 vanilla). Sift flour, baking powder and salt 3 times. Add to mixture with milk alternating beginning and ending with flour. Pour into pan, bake at 325º for 1 1/2 hrs
