1/2 pound butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg yolk, beaten (reserving white)
2 cups flour
2 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
pinch of salt
chopped nuts for tops

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar well. Fold in egg yolk, then follow with
the rest of the ingredients, and mix together. Roll the cookies
mixture into 1/4 inch thickness. Cut with cookie cutters as you
like. Brush with egg white and sprinkle with chopped nuts. Bake
cookies on ungreased cookie sheet at 350 degrees about 8-10
minutes or until golden.
