2 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/2 cup water

3 egg whites
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
6 tablespoons sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Combine - 2 tablespoon sugar and 1 tablespoon cornstarch, add 1/2 cup water and stir. Cook mixture over medium heat stirring constantly until thick an clear. Let cool.

Beat 3 egg whites with 1/8 teaspoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla until soft mounds. Add 6 tablespoons sugar gradually then gradually add the cooled cornstarch mixture. Continue beating until stiff peaks.

Spread on filled crust and bake 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes.
