6 cups Chex cereal (corn and rice)
1 bag Fritos corn chips (12-14 oz)
1-1/2 cups deluxe mixed nuts

1-1/3 cups white sugar
3/4 cup butter (1-1/2 sticks)
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Combine first three ingredients in a large, greased roasting pan and set aside. Combine sugar, butter and corn syrup in saucepan. Cook over medium heat to boiling. Stir constantly with wooden spoon to dissolve sugar. Cook until candy thermometer reaches soft-crack stage (260). Remove saucepan from heat and stir in vanilla. Immediately pour the syrup over the cereal mix and stir gently to coat. Bake uncovered in 350 oven for 10 minutes. Stir and continue baking another 10 minutes. Pour cereal onto a large piece of aluminum foil and spread out to cool.
When cool, break into small clusters. Store in a tightly sealed container. Do not refrigerate.
