1 quart strawberries, washed and hulled. If possible, use smaller strawberries to keep whole.

Glaze:
1 cup water
3/4 cup sugar
2-1/2 Tbsp cornstarch
1/4 tsp salt
2-3 drops red food coloring
1 tsp strawberry extract
Directions:
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients and slowly add 1 cup water.
Cook over medium heat until boiling, clear and thickened. Add food coloring and extract. Arrange in prebaked, cooled crust and cover 1/2 of strawberries at a time with glaze.
Refrigerate until ready to serve.
