Carmelita Bars Recipe

Bar Ingredients:
2 c. flour
2 c. oatmeal
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. melted butter

Topping Ingredients:
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 c. walnuts or pecans, chopped
1 (12 oz.) jar caramel ice cream topping
6 tbsp. flour

Combine bar ingredients and press 1/2 of mixture in a greased
9x13 inch pan. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes.

Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts over baked mixture. Combine
caramel topping with flour. Pour over chips and nuts. Top with
remaining crumb mixture. Bake 20 minutes at 350. Chill for easy
