1 box light brown sugar
1 cup sugar
1 cup margarine
1/2 cup crisco
5 large eggs
3 cups of flour
1 cup of milk
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar, crisco, and margarine. Add eggs one at at time
beating well after each addition. Sift dry ingredients, add and
cream well. Add milk and vanilla. Add 1 cup nuts to batter.
Put other cup on top of cake before baking by pressing down
slightly. Bake in greased and floured tube pan in 325º
oven for 1 1/2 hours.
