Pineapple Upside Down Cake Recipe

1 can pineapple slices
Maraschino Cherries
1 c butter
1 1/2 c. brown sugar

Cake Batter:
6 egg yolks, reserve whites
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 T. baking powder
10 T. pineapple juice

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter and brown sugar in large iron skillet. Arrange pineapple and cherries in mixture.

Cake: Mix together all ingredients, then fold in 6 stiffly beaten egg whites. Pour over pineapple mixture.

Bake at 350 for 50 minutes. Top with fresh whipped cream.
