1 pound ground beef or turkey
2 cups water
1 (8oz) can tomato sauce
2 (16oz.) cans stewed tomatoes, undrained
minced garlic to taste
1 teaspoon sugar
2 teaspoons salt
Pepper to taste
chopped fresh vegetables of choice, such as carrots,onions,
green beans or zucchini

Brown the ground beef in a saucepan, stirring until crumbly;
drain. Add the water, tomato sauce, tomatoes, garlic, sugar, salt
and pepper and mix well. Add the vegetables. Simmer for
several hours or until of the desired consistency.
