2 (8oz.) tube Crescent roll dough
3 tablespoons butter
1 vidalia onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, chopped
1 pound fresh asparagus
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 cup Mozzarella cheese
1 cup Swiss cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Unroll crescent dough and pat into an ungreased cookie
sheet making sure all seems are covered. Bake on lower
rack at 375º until lightly browned. Melt butter add
onion and saute until soft, about 5 minutes. Add chopped
garlic and saute for an additional 2 minutes. Snap off dry
ends of asparagus and slice the remaining stalk into 1 inch
pieces, reserving the tips. Add pieces to skillet and saute an
additional 5 minutes. Add pepper and tips and saute for an
additional 1-2 minutes. Spoon onto crust and sprinkle with
cheese. Bake at 375º for another 6-8 minutes or until
cheese is lightly golden and melted. Cut into squares and
serve.
