1 gal. sliced cucumbers
9 sliced green peppers
4 sliced onions
2 pt. vinegar
1 pt. water
5 C sugar
1 tsp. mustard
1 tsp. celery seed
4 tsp. mustard seed
3 tsp. turmeric
1/4 tsp. cloves

Directions:
Directions:
Sprinkle salt all over cucumbers and let sit (sweating) for 2 hours, then rinse. Combine with remaining ingredients and cook until tender. Make thickening using 2 C water, 3 Tbl. sugar, 1 heaping Tbl. flour, and 1 Tbl. mustard. Add to mixture. Bring to boil and bottle. Seal.

I used to hate this as a kid, but now I really like it. Great alongside roast and on hamburgers. Kind of an old grandma food, but give it a try!
