3/4 c. sugar
3 tbsp. plain flour
dash of salt
4 eggs
2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Nilla Wafers
5 to 6 medium size, ripe bananas, sliced

Directions:
Directions:
Combine 1/2 c. sugar, flour, and salt in pot. Mix in one whole egg and 3 egg yolks. Stir in milk. Cook uncovered, stirring constantly until thickened. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Spread small amt. on bottom of 1 1/2 quart casserole, cover with layer of wafers, top with layer of bananas. Pour more custard over bananas. Continue to layer wafers, bananas, and custard ending with custard (3 layers in all). Beat remaining 3 egg whites stiff, gradually add 1/4 c. remaining sugar and beat until peaks form. Pile on top of pudding. Bake in preheated oven at 425 for 5 min. or until brown.
