Ingredients:  
1 C sugar, 1/2 C shortening, 2 eggs separated, 2 C flour, 1 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp salt, 2 tsp vanilla,
2 T brown sugar, 1-6 oz bag choc chips, 1 C chopped nuts ( your choice )

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat Oven to 350. Cream sugar, shortening
& egg yolks. Beat well. Combine dry ingredients & add to creamed mixture. Add 1 tsp vanilla. Spread
into greased oblong cake pan. Sprinkle choc chips on top. Beat egg whites w/ last tsp vanilla & brown sugar. Spread over chips. Sprinkle nuts over all.
Bake @ 350 for 35 to 40 minutes. Cool on rack.
