1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/3 cup white wine vinegar or cider vinegar
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp curry powder
1 tsp soy sauce
10 cups torn red leaf lettuce
1 cup torn fresh spinach
1 can (11 oz) mandarin oranges, drained
1 cup halved green grapes
1/2 cup slivered almonds, toadted
1 ripe avacado, peeled and sliced

Directions:
Directions:
In a jar with a tight-fitting lid, combine the first six ingredients, shake well. In a large salad bowl, toss the lettuce, spinach, oranges, grapes and almonds. Add dressing and toss to coat. Garnish with avacado.
