1 lb. butter
2 C white sugar
2 C brown sugar
4 eggs
1 Tbsp vanilla

2 tsp baking powder
3/4 tsp salt
2 tsp baking soda
4 C flour
5 C quick cook oatmeal
1 16 oz bag milk choc chips
3 c nuts (optional)

Cream the butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla together. Then add the rest. It's a big batch, but it freezes well. Bake at 375 for 8 minutes.

Try adding 1/2 pb chips, or raisins/craisins and cinnamon chips.
