2 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cups raisins
1/4 teaspoon cloves
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon ginger
1/2 cup shortening
1 egg
3/4 cup molasses
1/2 cup sour milk with 2 teaspoons vinegar

Directions:

Mix all ingredients well. Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet. Bakt at 350 for 10-12 minutes. These cookies will be soft.
