1 1/2 to 2 quarts of milk, 1% (skim works too)
l can oysters, drained and cut up
1/4 stick margarine (I use less)

Heat milk in saucepan, stirring frequently. Add drained oysters and butter. Sprinkle on pepper. It's as simple as that!

This is one of Tom's favorite meals!! He always says you can only eat oyster soup in a month with an "R" in it. I finally realized those are the colder months so maybe that's why-soup tastes better when the weather is cold. Or maybe long ago, fresh oysters could only be had during those months. Your guess is as good as mine!
