2 sticks butter or margarine
12 tbsp cocoa
4 tbsp canola oil
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 c. flour
2 tsp vanilla
2 c. chopped pecans (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in microwave or over low heat, add cocoa and oil. Set aside to cool. Beat eggs until light and gradually add sugar. Beat in chocolate mixture. Blend in flour, then vanilla. Stire in nuts by hand. Bake in a greased 9 x 13 inch pan at 350º for 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Mark squares as soon as you remove from oven. Cut all the way through when cooled and remove from pan. Turn brownies so top is down and put the glaze on the bottom side of the brownies.
