1 C butter, softened
1/2 C powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond extract (optional)
2 C flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 C pecans, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter, sugar, vanilla and extract. In another bowl, combine flour and salt. Add to creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in pecans. Mix dough until it holds together. Form dough into 1 inch balls. Place on a greased cookie sheet, about 2 inches apart. Bake at 400º for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool cookies for a few minutes and roll in powdered sugar several times until well coated.
