1 recipe chocolate chip cake

1 can cherry pie filling

1 large package instant vanilla pudding

1 1/2c. whipped cream

2c. whipped cream

1/4c. rum

Directions:
Make pudding as directed on package except use 2 1/2c. milk. Fold in 1 1/2c. whipped cream to make a custard.

Assembly
Cut cake horizontally, to make 4 layers of cake.

In a large glass bowl place one layer of cake and sprinkle with rum, then layer 1/3 of the custard, then 1/3 of the cherry pie filling. Repeat with 2 more layer. End up with cake on top.

Garnish the top with 2c. whipped cream and cherries with stems.

Refrigerate over night.
