Pastry:
1 c flour
1/2 c melted butter
3 tbsp Confectioners' sugar

Filling:
2 eggs - slightly beaten
1 c sugar
1/4 c flour
1 c coconut - divided
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp vanilla
3/4 c chopped nuts
1/2 c halved or quartered cherries

Directions:
Directions:
Pastry:
Heat oven to 350. With a fork, mix flour, butter and Confectioners' sugar until smooth. Spread this with fingers in a 10 x 6 pan. Bake 25 minutes.

Filling:
Stir rest of ingredients into eggs. Spread over the top of the baked pastry (no need to cool). Bake about 25 minutes. Cool and cut into squares.
