2 c.flour
13/4 t. salt
1 t. baking powder

1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 t. vanilla
1 egg
1/4 c. milk

*Opt. 3/4 c. coconut
or 1/2 c. nuts & 2 t. grated lemon peel.
Directions:

Sift dry ingredients.
Cream butter, sugar, egg, milk, & vanilla.
Add dry ingredients.

Add 3/4 c. coconut or 1/2 c. nuts & 2 tsp. lemon zest.
Bake @ 375* 8 -10 min.
