9 egg yolks, beaten
3 c. milk
3- 1 pt. chilled whipping cream
1 1/2 c. sugar
3/4 tsp. salt
3 tsp. vanilla
6 c. fresh strawberries

Directions:
Directions:
Mix egg yolks, sugar, milk and salt in 2-quart saucepan, cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until bubbles appear around edge. Refrigerate inchilled bowl until room temperature, 2-3 hours.
Stir whipping cream and vanilla into milk mixture add Strawberries. Pour into freezer can: Put dasher in place. Cover and adjust crank. Place can infreezer tub. Fill with layers of ice and rock salt.
