2/3c. shortening

2 2/3c. sugar

4 eggs

1 can (1lb.) pumpkin

2/3c. water

3 1/3c. flour

2tsp. soda

1 1/2tsp. salt

1/2tsp. baking powder

1tsp. cinnamon

1tsp. cloves

2/3c. chopped nuts


Cream shortening and sugar.

Stir in eggs, pumpkin and water.

Add dry ingredient.

Stir in nuts and raisins.

Bake at 350 for 1 hour or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
