1 (20-oz.) package of lean ground turkey
1 medium onion, peeled and chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 (15-oz.) cans cannellini beans (white kidney beans) rinsed and drained
1 1/2 c. green chile salsa
1 c. chicken broth
2 tsp. each: ground cumin, oregano leaves and Mexican seasoning
2 tbsp. masa
Salt and pepper to taste

Optional toppers: Shredded Mexican blend cheese, sliced green onions, sliced olives and coarsley crumbled tortilla chips.

Crumble turkey into a large pot; add onion and garlic and saute for 10 minutes. Add beans, salsa, broth, cumin oregano and Mexican seasoning and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 30 minutes. Stir in masa and cook for 5 minutes more. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Ladle into bowls and have bowls of optional ingredients handy for topping chili.
