1 pkg. long grain and wild rice mix
1 lb bulk pork sausage
1 lb ground beef
1 large onion, chopped
1 (8oz) can water chestnuts, drained and sliced
3 T Soy sauce
1 (2 3/4 oz) pkg. sliced almonds
Lemon Slices (optional)
1 (8oz) can sliced mushrooms, drained

Directions:
Directions:
Cook rice mix according to directions. Set aside, cook sausage, ground beef and onion over medium heat in large skillet til brown. Stirring to crumble. Drain off drippings. Add rice, mushrooms, water chestnuts and soy sauce. Stir well. Spoon into an ungreased 2 qt. casserole dish, bake uncovered at 300 for 20 minutes.
