4 Tbsp butter
4 Tbsp green pepper,chopped
4 Tbsp flour
Pinch paprika
3/4 tsp salt
2 1/2 cups milk
2 1/2 cups cooked chicken
1/2 cup mushrooms
2 Tbsp pimentoes
1 egg, beaten well

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter, add green pepper and cook gently for 3 minutes
Stir in flour and seasonings
Gradually add milk, stirring constantly
When boiling point is reached place in double boiler and add chicken, mushrooms and pimentoes
Cook 15 minutes
Stir in beaten egg and cook 2 minutes longer

(If you don't have a double boiler use a heavy pan over low heat, stirring constantly as this will burn quickly)

This recipe was served for over 50 years every Christmas Eve at the "Mugg" extended family celebration.......what great memories!! Of course, it was multiplied several times for the large crowd
