1/2 c butter or margarine
1/3 c confectioners sugar
1 T water
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/4 c four
Dash of salt
2/3 c pitted dates
1/2 c walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and confectioners sugar. Stir in water and vanilla. Add flour and salt. Mix well. Stir in dates and nuts. Roll into 1 inch balls. Bake at 300 about 20 minutes or until cookies are set but not brown. While warm roll in confectioners sugar.
