1 lb brown sugar
5 oz evaporated milk
2-3 cups of pecans

Prepare two cookie sheets with wax paper.

Mix sugar & milk in a GLASS bowl with a WOODEN Spoon (both make a difference)

Make certain no sugar lumps exist before adding pecans.

Microwave on high for 6 minutes
Stir mixture well
Microwave on high for 3 minutes
Stir for 3 minutes, drop by tablespoon on wax paper

DO NOT DOUBLE RECIPE IN COOKING – SPLIT BATCHES. It will cool too fast to drop
(I used fat free milk - so added back a tablespoon of real butter. I also use 1 lb of pecans for 2 lbs of sugar & 10 oz milk.)

Humidity makes a difference in drying time....may need to place trays in a cooling oven (mildly warm to start). Keep in sealed container.
