3 cans Allen's Italian cut green beans
10 new potatoes, unpeeled, cut into cubes
1 whole onion, sliced
6 slices bacon
1/3 c. butter
salt and pepper to taste
2 T. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Fry onions and bacon in butter, don't drain. Layer potatoes and green beans, add sugar,salt and pepper. Cover and cook on low to medium heat for 1 hour.
