1 cup breadcrumbs
2 cups cracker crumbs ( ritz style is best for this one)
1/2 pound melted butter
2 pints oysters (drain, save liquid,pick out shell fragments)
3/4 cup light cream
salt and pepper
2 cloves minced garlic
Parmesan cheese

Directions:

Combine melted butter with both kinds of crumbs. Combine light cream with reserved oyster liquid.In a casserole dish,layer-----------1/3 layer crumb mix-- 1/2 layer oysters---1/2 cream and season with S and P then,1/3 layer crumbs 1/2 oyster and 1/2 cream on top.season,Cover the top with the remaining 1/3 crumb mix and top off with Parmesan and S and P.Bake in a 400 degree oven for 50 minutes or so then lower oven temp to 350 and continue cooking for another 1/2 hour.
