Fudge Pie Recipe

2 squares chocolate
1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs well beaten
Pinch of salt
1/4 cup flour
1 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts)

Directions:
Directions:
Melt chocolate, add to creamed butter and sugar. Add eggs, salt, flour, vanilla and nuts.

Pour into pie shell and bake for 30 minutes at 325º.

May omit pie shell and bake in greased pyrex pie plate for 30 minutes at 325º.

This recipe makes a "chewy" and rich pie. Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

The original recipe didn't specify kind of chocolate squares, but I always use unsweetened chocolate.
