1 1/2 lb. lean hamburger (browned & drained)
1 medium onion (chopped & sauteed)
3 cans consomme soup
1 can tomato soup
2 c. water
2 cans stewed tomatoes
1/2 tsp. thyme
1 bay leaf
3 T. parsley flakes
8 T. pearl barley
4-5 carrots
3-4 sticks of celery
pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Cook hamburger and onion as directed. Add to other ingredients. Mix all together and simmer until vegetables are done. Freezes great.
