1 tbsp. butter

Combine all ingredients in a casserole. Cover. Bake in a 325º oven for one hour.

This rice can be kept in the warm oven for over 1 hour if dinner is delayed. You can double it but it takes longer to cook. You can add other things to it... curry, raisins, mushrooms, etc. Experiment!
