2 c. buttermilk baking mix
1/2 c. milk
8 to 10 tomatoes, peeled and sliced thick
1 tbsp. chives
1 tsp. basil
Salt and pepper to taste
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
1 c. mayonnaise

Directions:
Directions:
Blend baking mix with milk to form a pastry dough. Roll out thickly to fill a 9 in. pie pan. Trim and flute edges. Making 2 or 3 layers, arrange tomatoes, chives, basil, salt, and pepper evenly. Thoroughly mix cheese and mayonnaise together and spread over top. Bake in preheated 400 oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
