3-5# blade cut pot roast
1 onion, sliced thin
Salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Sprinkle roast with meat tenderizer and pierce with fork on both sides
Brown roast on both sides
Put in roaster pan with sliced onion on top
Bake covered in 275-300º oven for about 5 hours
Turn roast over every 30-45 minutes
You might have to add alittle water to roast while baking

You can add peeled potatoes and carrots the last 60-90 minutes for a one pan meal
