Macaroni Beef Recipe

1/2 cup chopped onion
2 tbsp oil
1 lb ground beef
1 28 oz can tomatoes
1 8 oz can tomato sauce
1/4 c chopped parsley
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp oregano
1/4 tsp garlic powder
8 oz macaroni
1 c grated parmesan cheese

Saute onion in oil, add beef, brown. Stir in tomatoes, sauce, and seasonings. Simmer for 2 minutes. Cook macaroni 6-7 minutes in boiling water. Drain. In 2 quart casserole, lightly mix macaroni and 1/2 c cheese. Stir in sauce, sprinkle remaining cheese on top. Bake at 375 for 20-25 minutes.
