1 1/2 c. flour
3 t. baking powder
1/2 t. salt
1/4 c. shortening
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
1 t. vanilla

Topping:
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 T. flour
1 1/2 t. cinnamon
2 T. butter
Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening, sugar and egg. Add milk and vanilla. Sift in dry ingredients. Pour into greased 8x8 baking dish.

Combine topping ingredients; cutting in butter with pastry blender so that mixture is chunky. Sprinkle over batter.

Bake at 350 degrees till golden brown.
