1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 egg yolk (save the egg white)

Directions:
For the crust, spread one package of crescent roll dough on the bottom of a 9x13 cake pan that has been lightly sprayed with nonstick spray. For the filling: mix the cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, lemon juice & egg yolk together with an electric mixer. Beat until smooth and fluffy. Spread this mixture over bottom crust. Spread the second tube of crescent roll dough over the cream cheese layer for the top crust. Brush the top crust with beaten egg white. Bake until top crust is a deep golden brown, about 20 minutes at 350º for a metal cake pan, 325º for a glass pan. Store in fridge.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
from Trish: These bars go together quickly and are very popular at brunches and coffee hours. They taste like a wonderful cream cheese danish. The key is the baking time. Do NOT under bake! Adjust cooking time until the rich golden brown crust is achieved.
