5 egg yolks
5 egg whites
1&1/2 c. sugar
5 tbsp. flour
3 c. milk
1/2 stick (1/4 c.) butter or margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flaked coconut
2 baked 9in. pie shells
10 tbsp. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Mix beaten egg yolks, sugar, flour, milk and butter or margarine in top of double boiler. Cook until thick. Add vanilla and coconut and cool. Pour into baked pie shells. Cover with meringue made from 5 stiffly beaten egg whites and 10 tbsp. sugar. Brown at 350º.
