1 package (1 1/2 lbs.) baby carrots
1/3 c. honey
2 T. butter
salt
pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Place carrots in microwavable container. Pour honey over top. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cover and microwave on high for 4-8 minutes until they're as soft as you like.

Add more honey and butter if you like.

The original carrot recipe called for chopped fresh parsley (2 T.) , 1/4 t. orange extract, and a sprinkle of dried thyme. The picky eaters in the Bush extended family don't eat such exotic ingredients, but they love these plain, honey-sweet carrots. You can cook it in the conventional oven for 1 hour at 375 degrees if you'd rather.
